About Us and Our Dogs
Our goal at McRaegan Kennels is produce high quality West Highland White Terriers, (also known as Westies) and we are passionate about rearing happy, healthy, and well-socialized puppies. Our breeding dogs are carefully selected for their health, temperament, and conformation with aim to meet established breed standards.
We strive to produce puppies that will make excellent companions for years to come. Our puppies are home-raised in a nurturing and loving environment and socialized with people and other animals from an early age. We use early neurological stimulation and other enrichment protocols to help our puppies thrive.
Our goal is to breed healthy, happy, and well-adjusted puppies. Before leaving our home, all puppies receive a complete health check-up, first vaccination, deworming and microchip. We also provide a health guarantee and lifetime support to our puppy owners. All our puppies are registered with the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC).
Although we raise dogs to show in conformation and select breeding stock, they live within our home and cuddle on the couch as beloved companions. Please feel free to contact us to determine if we can help you find the ideal companion for your family!
Memberships
We are current members of a number of dog clubs, including the Canadian Kennel Club and the West Highland White Terrier Club of Canada. We enjoy competing in conformation dog shows with our Westies. In the past year we have also been able to participate in Rat Sports with the introduction of events in Newfoundland.
